Toray Plastics (America) Inc. seeks an entry-level Associate Sales Representative at the Front Royal, VA site.

Learn the product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, target markets and value propositions, while performing customer-facing sales and sales-support duties for the PEF Sales department. This role offers formal training, mentoring from experienced sales professionals, and opportunities for advancement into Territory Sales Manager and other commercial roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, Business, Marketing or related discipline.
• 0-2 years’ experience in sales, business development, customer service, internship or relevant experience.
• Prior experience in manufacturing, industrial products, packaging, automotive products or sales administration preferred.
• Must be able to travel 25-50% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Meet and/or exceed sales targets by providing solid customer service and developing new markets.
• Assist with quotations, commercial proposals, product samples, sales reports and pipeline updates.
• Maintain accurate and timely customer contact, account, activity and opportunity information in Salesforce.
• Work with engineering, product development, technical service, manufacturing, quality and customer service to resolve customer needs.
• Travel 25-50% as required and on-site at the Front Royal, VA division when not traveling.
