Job summary

Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax preparation, including multistate and multi-year forms, with emphasis on accuracy and client service.

You will conduct face-to-face interviews, prepare returns, provide IRS audit support, and handle payments. Flexible schedules (day/night/weekends) and full- or part-time options are available, with up-front training and PTIN certification support.

Qualifications

• Must have PTIN certification.
• Experience in customer service or sales is a plus.
• Comfort with learning tax software and processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and client retention through service excellence.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support when needed.
• Complete tax forms in compliance with laws and regulations.
• Process client payments and deposits promptly.
• Assist with marketing and business generation efforts.
