Jackson Hewitt Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Entry Level Tax Preparer to guide clients through tax forms, explain steps, and complete multiyear, multistate returns with accuracy.

You will perform face-to-face interviews, file returns electronically, and provide IRS audit support while delivering excellent customer service. This role offers flexible scheduling and growth opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field is preferred.
• Experience in customer service or tax preparation is a plus.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Conduct face-to-face tax interviews with clients.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide clients with IRS audit support.
• Complete all related tax forms in accordance with policies and regulations.
• Process client payments and ensure timely deposits.
• Assist with marketing and business generation efforts.
• Advise clients on tax planning and future needs.
• Address client questions and resolve issues with supervision as needed.
• Support office priorities through teamwork and collaboration.
