Job summary

Seabrook Solutions seeks an entry-level Mechanical Engineer to provide Operations & Maintenance support to NASA facilities at the Marshall Space Flight Center (MSFC). The role focuses on maintaining system functionality while adapting to a changing research environment and working closely with operational units to ensure efficiency and reliability.

The ideal candidate holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering, with recent graduates up to three years of related experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Recent graduate to 3 years related experience.
• Experience with or exposure to PM/PI programs and reliability initiatives is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop scope, work statements, specifications and procurement packages for outsource technical consulting, operation/repair, or other services.
• Provide expert advice on Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Testing & Inspection (PT&I) programs for system performance and reliability.
• Support Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) efforts and field engineering support to technicians.
• Monitor significant system status and key events and keep NASA Performance Monitors apprised.
