Job summary

Amentum's Space Force Range Contract (SFRC) Integration Engineering team seeks a Junior Engineer (LSE) to support LTRS subsystems under guidance of senior staff. You’ll help track risks, anomalies, and DMSMS, and assist in developing out-year spend plans and government funding inputs.

You will help define requirements for TPD contracts, support acquisition docs, coordinate with Government customers, and contribute to risk management and transition of new systems into SFRC OM&S baseline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, MIS or related STEM field.
• 0–2 years of systems engineering experience (Requirements, Test, Specialty Engineering, Project Integration, Subsystem Lifecycle Management, or Systems Architecture) or related field.
• Fundamental knowledge of the engineering lifecycle and systems engineering processes.

Responsibilities

• Assist tracking and management of risks, subsystem anomalies, and DMSMS cases.
• Help develop out-year spend plans and data for Government funding inputs.
• Support integration of Third-Party Developer (TPD) systems into the SFRC OM&S baseline.
• Assist in defining and writing requirements for TPD contracts based on capabilities and operating concepts in support of SLD30.
