Job summary

RTX in McKinney, TX is seeking an entry level Electro Optical Test Engineer to join the Systems Engineering and Test Capabilities team. You will design, execute, and analyze test plans for EO systems, interfacing with design and manufacturing teams to ensure products meet specifications.

This onsite role requires a US security clearance and U.S. citizenship. The salary range is disclosed with relocation eligibility and growth opportunities in aerospace and defense projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) by start date.
• Knowledge of electronics/electrical engineering, basic mechanical engineering, or basic programming.
• Hands-on hardware integration and troubleshooting experience.
• Experience with data analysis tools such as MATLAB or Python.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team environment interfacing multiple disciplines.
• Support system performance analysis, integration and test.
• Conduct tests on optical/electrical components and collect data to optimize performance.
• Identify issues during testing and assist in design enhancements.
• Document test results and present reports to stakeholders.
• Provide test architecture design and baseline definitions.
