Job summary

Wenger Manufacturing LLC is seeking an entry-level grinder to smooth and refine surfaces on manufactured parts. The role requires good communication and teamwork to support production goals in a manufacturing environment.

You will examine surfaces, select proper abrasives, operate grinders, and polish to remove defects. Lifting up to 50 lbs and forklift certification may be required. This is a hands-on manufacturing position focused on quality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Examine and feel surface of workpiece for defects.
• Select abrasive belt, wheel, or disk; attach to grinder.
• Start grinder and move over surface to remove scratches, rust and burrs.
• Polish ground area with finer abrasive for a smooth finish.
• Replace worn abrasive disks, wheels and belts.
• Operate lift truck with certification.
• Perform other duties as needed by the business.
