Job summary

DTNA in Detroit, MI is seeking a Vendor Scheduler to ensure on-time delivery of purchased components for production and distribution. You will manage supplier schedules using EDI and manual methods, balance material availability with inventory targets, and identify supply risks to prevent disruption.

The role collaborates with the Consolidation Center, parts distribution, and internal Machining while analyzing data to resolve delivery issues and support continuous improvement in scheduling,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in related field required.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience required.
• Experience with supply chain planning and scheduling.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Resume attachment required.

Responsibilities

• Manage supplier schedules to ensure components are available in required quantities and on time.
• Analyze ERP parameters to meet production needs based on demand and lead times.
• Execute and maintain EDI and manual scheduling processes with timely communication.
• Monitor supplier delivery performance and material availability, identifying shortages and risks.
• Coordinate material flow for Consolidation Center, parts distribution, and internal Machining.
• Balance component availability with inventory value and premium freight targets.
