Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Freight Coordinator to coordinate transportation for third-party materials to installation sites. You will evaluate load dimensions and truck weights to maximize trailer utilization and ensure accurate billing and documentation.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and at least two years of related experience; dispatch experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
• Must maintain effective working relationships across departments.
• Willing to work off-hours as needed and take on more responsibility.
• Must perform essential functions safely and consistently.

Responsibilities

• Provide truck schedules for daily deliveries and pickups.
• Create Bills of Lading, Delivery & Pickup receipts.
• Maintain records of shipments, handling processes, and inventory levels.
• Maintain upkeep of PO submission and supporting documents.
• Communicate with carriers and manage delivery times.
• Coordinate with Project Managers on delays and propose alternatives.
• Run department reports and assist on various projects.
