Job summary

Raymond West is seeking a detail-oriented Supply Chain Freight Coordinator. This entry-level role involves coordinating transportation for 3rd party materials to installation sites, evaluating load dimensions and truck weights, and ensuring proper freight documentation and costs are applied.

The position emphasizes task-based, supervised work with opportunities to develop basic supply chain skills and contribute to end-to-end warehouse solutions.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent Organizational Time Management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and similar software.
• Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with employees, Coworkers, and Managers in other departments.
• Must be willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required.
• Must be able to fulfill essential job functions in a consistent state of alertness and a safe manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide RW personnel with truck schedules for daily deliveries and pickups.
• Create Bills of Lading, Delivery & Pickup receipts.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, handling processes, and inventory levels.
• Maintain upkeep of PO submission and supporting documents.
• Communicate with carriers and manage the delivery time
• Contact Project Managers if transportation delays may result and present alternate solutions if necessary.
• Run department reports
• Assist and complete various projects as needed.
