Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering required.
• ABET accreditation strongly preferred.
• Internship/related consulting experience preferred.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred.
• Campus/community involvement encouraged.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficient in standard engineering techniques and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist design of substation projects from concept through completion.
• Prepare substation design packages including physical arrangement, protective relaying, and lighting.
• Develop substation calculations (grounding, voltage drop, cable sizing).
• Prepare design sketches, cost estimates, BOMs, equipment specs.
• Assist with field inspections and project data research.
• Support client presentations and project status visuals.
• Adhere to project schedules and QA/QC guidelines.
