Job summary

WSP is seeking an Entry-Level Substation Electrical Engineer in Saint Louis, MO to support the Power Delivery Substation Team. You will assist with detailed design, drawings, SCADA and station layouts, while upholding quality standards and client expectations.

Ideal candidates have a BSEE or BSEET and 0–1 year of experience, and are eager to relocate if needed. You will collaborate across disciplines to deliver safe, compliant electrical infrastructure for energy projects.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of experience in electrical engineering or related field.
• Degree: BSEE or BSEET from an accredited university with power option preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively with team and clients.

Responsibilities

• Produce detailed design for substations including one-line diagrams, wiring, SCADA, and layouts.
• Support QA/QC for deliverables to clients.
• Adhere to WSP Code of Conduct and safety policies.
• Learn client standards and collaborate to complete complex designs.
• Participate in site visits and contribute to transmission design tasks.
