Job summary

PHEAA is a nonprofit student aid organization dedicated to providing affordable access to higher education. PHEAA’s Loan Asset Management department is hiring Default Prevention Representatives for an entry-level clerical wage role.

You will perform skip tracing, outbound calls, and counsel students to promote responsible account management with loan services. Data entry tasks in the State Grant and Special Programs department may also be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Computer literacy and knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Learn and understand internal/external information systems (OneLINK, COMPASS, SLMA, ACS, Nelnet).
• Learn and apply Federal regulations to provide effective customer service.
• Use internet resources for skiptracing as needed.
• Perform basic math to calculate delinquency days and payments.
• Communicate effectively in writing and speech.
• Work well in a team and results-driven environment.
