Job summary

Garver LLC in Greenville, South Carolina is seeking an Entry-Level Structural Engineer to join our Water Design Center. You will help design concrete water and wastewater facilities, pump stations, and related infrastructure as part of a multidisciplinary project team.

You’ll perform structural layout, run design calculations for concrete and steel, develop finite element models, and produce construction drawings while coordinating with BIM designers.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited civil or structural engineering degree.
• 0–1 year of structural design experience.
• Ability to obtain EIT within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Produce structural designs for water/wastewater facilities and related structures.
• Develop finite element models to analyze structures.
• Perform design calculations for concrete and steel.
• Prepare construction drawings and 3D models; coordinate with other disciplines.
• Support project construction through submittals and site visits.
