Job summary

Garver's Buildings Team is hiring a Structural Engineer in Training (EntryLevel) in San Antonio, TX. The role develops structural designs and documentation, including analysis, design, detailing, and construction administration for multiple systems such as structural steel, reinforced concrete, cold-formed steel, masonry, and wood.

Responsibilities include BIM-based drawing production, coordination with other disciplines, site observations, and QA/QC adherence.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited degree with structural emphasis is required.
• EIT registration or ability to obtain within 6 months of start date.
• Proficiency with BIM and structural design software preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills required.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis, design, and detailing.
• Conduct construction administration: review shop drawings, RFIs, site observations, reports.
• Produce structural drawings using BIM software.
• Coordinate with other disciplines.
• Support project managers and follow QA/QC plans.
