Job summary

Martin/Martin Wyoming is seeking an entry-level structural engineer to join the Structural Engineering Group in our Cheyenne office. You will work with multiple project managers on a broad range of project types, performing calculations, drawing development, site visits, and related activities early in your career.

The successful candidate gains hands-on experience with mentoring, and opportunities to learn while working on projects tailored to Mountain West conditions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related).
• Has passed FE Examination.
• 0-4 years' experience; eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area; relocation may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations and prepare drawings for project components.
• Prepare and write technical reports and documentation.
• Provide field observation during construction and assist Project Manager in construction administration.
• Study and apply building codes (IBC, ASCE-7) under supervision.
• Coordinate with owners, architects, and contractors as part of project teams.
