Job summary

Martin/Martin Wyoming, Inc. seeks an entry-level structural engineer to join the Structural Engineering Group in our Cheyenne office.

You will collaborate with multiple project managers on a broad range of project types, performing calculations, developing drawings, and participating in site visits. This role offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and opportunities to learn the structural design and construction process across Mountain West projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related)
• Has passed FE Examination
• Completes assigned tasks in a timely manner and instills confidence in communication and technical abilities
• 0-4 years’ experience
• Must be eligible to work for any employer in the United States, without visa sponsorship now or in the future
• Ability to work in the Cheyenne, Wyoming area

Responsibilities

• Perform design calculations for project components
• Prepare and write reports
• Provide field observation during construction
• Assist Project Manager in Construction Administration, including checking submittals and independent field observations
• Study and apply building code and jurisdictional requirements
• Review shop drawings and product submittals
• Contribute to design of project components assigned by Project Manager
• Collaborate with owners, architects, contractors, and team members

Education

Bachelor's degree in engineering (Architectural, Civil, Structural, or related)

Has passed FE Examination
