Job summary

BRG is seeking an entry-level Associate in Washington, DC, to work with experienced consultants on diverse engagements that improve performance and drive growth. You’ll gain exposure to strategy, operations, and technology-enabled change while developing quantitative, qualitative, and client-relations skills.

From day one you’ll contribute to data-driven analyses, create actionable insights, and support implementation with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in economics, mathematics, data science, statistics, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, healthcare informatics, engineering, environmental science or related field; GPA 3.5+ desirable.
• 0–2 years of work experience, including internships.
• Strong Excel and data analytics proficiency; willingness to learn additional tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct market, operational, financial, and organizational analyses to support decision-making.
• Analyze data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Develop board- and executive-ready presentations, reports, dashboards, and other client deliverables.
• Support strategic planning, operational improvement, organizational transformation, and business process optimization initiatives.
• Build financial models, business cases, and implementation roadmaps that support client recommendations.
• Perform industry, competitive, and market research to inform strategic decisions.
• Facilitate client workshops, interviews, and working sessions to gather insights and align stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative, practical solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
