Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED.
• Within 1 year of hire: Certification as CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA).

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument and equipment decontamination and cleaning following IFUs.
• Performs visual inspection of instruments and equipment prior to assembly and packaging.
• Performs appropriate sterilization of instrument and equipment based on IFUs with proper indicators.
• Documents work performed using instrument tracking software or paper documentation.
• Demonstrates critical thinking, decisive judgement and ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
