Job summary

UCHealth is seeking an entry level Sterile Processing Technician for the Anschutz Inpatient Pavilion in Aurora, CO. This onsite role handles decontamination, cleaning, sterilization, and documentation in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and CSPDT or CRCST certification, with preferred 3 months of experience. Shift is evenings; pay ranges $23.49–$30.53 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Entry level sterile processing responsibilities.
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
• Good problem solving and decisiveness in daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument and equipment decontamination and cleaning per IFU.
• Performs sterilization and verifies indicators, filters and labeling.
• Conducts routine cleaning and sterilizer testing including biological monitoring and Bowie-Dick tests.
• Documents work using instrument tracking software or paper records.
• Exhibits critical thinking and decisive judgment in the workflow.
