Job summary

UCHealth Cherry Creek Medical Center in Denver, CO is seeking an entry-level Sterile Processing Technician to join the Cook St ASC team. This onsite role develops skills in decontamination, instrument cleaning, sterilization, and packaging.

Minimum requirements include a High School diploma or GED, with CSPDT or CRCST certification expected within one year of hire. The position is full-time, night shift, 80 hours per pay period, with a pay range of $21.49–$27.94 per hour and a comprehensive

• High School diploma or GED.
• Within 1 year of hire: CSPDT (CBSPD) or CRCST (HSPA) certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs instrument and equipment decontamination and cleaning following IFUs.
• Performs visual inspection of instruments and equipment prior to assembly and packaging.
• Performs sterilization of instruments/equipment based on IFUs and ensures indicators, filters and labels are correct.
• Documents work performed using instrument tracking software or paper documentation.
• Works with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment and takes appropriate action.
