Power Motive Corporation in Denver, CO seeks a Staff Accountant to assist with full cycle month-end close and compliance tasks such as sales tax, licenses, and annual reports. This entry-level role offers opportunities to learn in a fast-paced, complex organization across multiple states.

You will handle asset reconciliations, monthly depreciation, equipment invoicing, and provide backup for Accounts Payable while supporting the year-end close and audits.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Entry level accounting experience or internship preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite required.
• Experience in accounting department preferred; heavy equipment background is a plus.

Mansioni

• Assist full cycle month-end close and reporting.
• Ensure compliance across multiple states: annual reports and sales tax.
• Reconcile fixed assets, depreciation, and capitalization policies.
• Support equipment invoicing and AP backup as needed.
• Assist with year-end audit preparations and backup documentation.
