Job summary

Cascade Living Group is seeking a Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and month-end close. This entry-level role develops expertise in general ledger, reconciliations, accounts receivable, treasury, and financial reporting within a collaborative team.

You will prepare routine journal entries, perform reconciliations, assist with bank and intercompany activities, and contribute to audits while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy in all records.

Qualifications

• 2 years accounting experience preferred.
• Experience with journal entries and reconciliations.
• Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post routine journal entries to the general ledger.
• Perform general ledger and balance sheet account reconciliations, researching discrepancies.
• Assist with bank reconciliations and other cash account reconciliations.
• Support accounts receivable, including reviewing activity and reconciling discrepancies.
• Assist with treasury and cash management activities, including monitoring bank activity and cash balances.
• Maintain accurate general ledger records and supporting documentation.
• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes.
• Review financial transactions for accuracy and proper account classification.
• Research unusual transactions and reconciliation differences.
• Prepare schedules and documentation for accounting and financial reporting.
• Assist with intercompany transactions and reconciliations, where applicable.
• Support annual audits and provide documentation and account support.
• Maintain organized accounting records per policies.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve accounting questions.
• Assist with special accounting projects and process improvements.
• Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
