Provident Bank in New Jersey is seeking an entry-level loan servicing professional to perform high-level maintenance, audit functions, and support commercial loan portfolios. You will handle funds application, escrow, and monthly billing while ensuring accuracy and meeting deadlines.

The role involves training staff, interacting with customers, and supporting various loan types across Horizon and ACBS systems.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of loan servicing or related processing experience.
• Interpretation of all loan documentation.
• Working knowledge of Horizon System, ACBS System, PC skills.
• Ability to create Excel spreadsheets and utilize formulas for creating bills and various reports.
• Take ownership of workflow with minimal supervision.
• Ability to multi-task.

Responsabilités

• Assist with managing commercial loan servicing activities and respond to borrower inquiries.
• Ensure deadlines are met for internal and external customers.
• Evaluate and resolve high-priority or complex issues through communication with customers.
• Set up borrower and financial information for new loan closings in Horizon and ACBS systems.
• Read loan documents and approvals to verify system accuracy.
• Track future interest rate adjustments and alert management of changes.
• Process loan modifications on the portfolio.
• Input and verify modified data approved by Credit Committee.
• Administer real estate tax escrow disbursement reports to prevent negative escrow transactions.
• Contact municipalities for clarification of amounts due and escrow discrepancies.
• Respond to borrower inquiries for escrow reconciliations.
• Handle monthly billing process for commercial accounts.
• Maintain quality control standards.
• Contact borrowers on returned mail items for address verification.
• Process monetary transactions including payments, fees, payoffs, and loan advances/pay-downs.
• Train new staff on bank policies and procedures.
