Job summary

Judd Wire, Inc., a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is seeking an Entry Level Machine Spark Operator for the 3rd shift at our Turners Falls, MA facility. You will perform sparking, measuring, testing, and re-spooling tasks, with on‑the‑job training from day one.

The role requires readiness to work a flexible schedule and cross-train on other machines. Starting pay ranges from $19.28 to $22.91 per hour, plus a $3.00 per hour 3rd shift differential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Basic arithmetic including decimals and fractions using measuring instruments.
• Be a team player, enjoy detailed work, and be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Work from orders and instructions to meet specifications for conductor size, insulation, sparking, and reel setup.
• Set up sparking machine, select counter eyes, apply voltage, test and检查 continuity.
• Visually inspect wire/cables for sparking defects and remove defective pieces.
