BizFirst LLC is seeking a Software Engineer at Fort Meade, MD, with TS/SCI clearance and Full Scope Polygraph for immediate start. The role targets Level 0/1 candidates, offering full-time on-site work in a secure government facility and the chance to contribute to SIGINT processing systems development.

The ideal candidate will design, code, and test software in a collaborative team, using Linux and shell scripts, with growth into mission-focused development.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph required.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science; four years' software experience may substitute.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line and shell/Bash scripting.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD.
• Experience designing, coding, and debugging software in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze user requirements to derive software design and performance requirements.
• Design and code new software, and modify existing software to add new features.
• Debug existing software and correct defects.
• Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments.
• Develop simple data queries for databases and data repositories.
• Recommend improvements to documentation and software development process standards.
• Work on Linux systems and automate routine tasks with shell/Bash scripts.
