BizFirst LLC is seeking a Systems Engineer at Fort Meade, MD to move from system administration into systems engineering on a SIGINT software team. Immediate start with an active TS/SCI clearance is required.

Onsite work in a secure government facility, with full benefits and career growth in a mission-focused program. The role involves maintaining software, performing installs and patches, configuring systems, and contributing to engineering documentation.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.
• Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, CS, IS, Eng Sci, or Eng Management; 5 years may substitute.
• System administration or systems engineering experience in a Linux environment.
• Experience performing installs, configuration, integration, and patching.
• Proficiency with the Linux/Unix command line and shell scripting.
• Clear written communication for requirements, interface, and review documentation.
• Ability to work onsite at Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and support to a SIGINT software team.
• Perform installs, configuration, integration, patches, and security architecture changes.
• Optimize and maintain sensor systems.
• Contribute to systems engineering documentation, including requirement specifications and Interface Control Documents.
• Coordinate the resolution of action items from meetings, design reviews, program reviews, and test reviews that require cross-discipline coordination.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux systems, and automate routine tasks with shell and Bash scripts.
