Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Security Operations Center Analyst I (SOC) in Arlington, VA. You will monitor devices and dashboards, manage security events, and coordinate response efforts to protect government networks.

Role requires DoD IAT Level II certification and DoD Secret clearance; a degree or equivalent experience qualifies. The team values professional development and hands-on training across diverse security operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; associate with 2+ years relevant experience may substitute.
• HS diploma or GED with 4+ years relevant experience may substitute.
• 2+ years relevant experience.
• DoD IAT Level II Certification is required.
• DoD Secret Clearance required with ability to obtain TS/SCI.

Responsibilities

• Monitor devices and dashboards on program networks.
• Perform event and incident management per established procedures.
• Conduct backup and recovery procedures as needed.
• Analyze network events across program networks.
• Report outages or incidents per guidelines.
• Responsible for security event monitoring using SIEM toolsets.
• Detect, analyze, and respond to incidents with containment, eradication, recovery.
• Use analytics tools for log collection, analysis, and alerting.
• Additional tasks as directed by the NOSC Lead.
• Provide Mobile Phone support including SIM activation/deactivation.
• Other duties as assigned.
