Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer in Arlington, VA to analyze security of hardware and low-level OS components in consumer devices and to support information system asset protection. You will implement security solutions, review risks with product engineers, and develop security policies.

The role requires 4+ years of experience, TS/SCI clearance, and 8570 IAT Level 2 certification. Strong Splunk expertise and UNIX/Linux/Windows administration skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ years of relevant experience required.
• 8570 IAT Level 2 Certification (CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, or SSCP) required.
• TS/SCI clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Analyze security of hardware and low-level OS components of consumer devices.
• Provide systems security support for protection of information system assets.
• Implement technology to support network defense, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Assess risks and work with product engineers to create mitigations.
• Develop and execute security policies, standards, and procedures.
• Deliver security training and promote awareness to engineers.
