Qualifications

• DOT Medical Card required at Boss Shops.
• Successful completion of internal technician training programs.
• Ability to obtain ASE, DOT, and other relevant certifications as required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured to drive company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned training programs, evaluations, and e-learning within designated timeframes.
• Perform preventative maintenance services, including oil changes, lubrication, and filter replacement.
• Grease trucks and trailers.
• Perform tire repair, replacement, and related services.
• Conduct CSA inspections and emergency road service calls.
• Perform basic electrical diagnosis and repairs, including lighting, wiring, and 7-way replacements.
• Perform minor trailer maintenance and body repairs.
• Conduct basic air system repairs, including airline replacement, fittings, glad hands, and splices.
• Perform battery testing and replacement.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop and work areas.
• Ensure tools, equipment, and service vehicles are clean, functional, and properly maintained.
• Properly store parts, tires, and supplies.
• Accurately complete work orders, including labor, parts, and customer information.
• Ensure total customer satisfaction and uphold company integrity.
• Follow company safety policies and procedures.
• Complete OSHA Skills Demonstration and required safety training.
• Maintain current LMS training requirements.
• Provide friendly, professional, and competent customer service.
• Report to work as scheduled and on time.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• No supervisory responsibilities.

Requirements

• Reliable transportation and phone
• Availability to work weekends, holidays, and as needed
• Ability to communicate effectively in English (if applicable)

• Ability and willingness to work cooperatively with team members
• Willingness to learn and develop technical skills
• Ability to lift and/or move up to 75 pounds
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, bend, kneel, crouch, climb, and perform repetitive motions throughout the workday
• Ability to work in shop and roadside environments under varying conditions
• Physical attendance at the primary work location is required
