Job summary

Exponential Power in Menomonee Falls, WI is seeking a Motive Power Service Technician who enjoys mechanical work and problem-solving. The position offers competitive compensation, local travel, and three weeks of PTO plus holidays.

You will install, maintain, and repair motive power battery systems at customer sites, ensuring reliability and safety. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Experience in installing, servicing, and maintaining similar manufacturing or industrial products.
• Motive Power product experience (batteries, chargers) is a huge plus.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening, background check, and DOT medical exam.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair motive power battery systems and chargers at customer sites.
• Conduct diagnostics and performance checks on industrial battery equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance to ensure system reliability and safety.
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain service work and recommend solutions.
• Maintain accurate service records and follow safety protocols.
• Travel locally to customer facilities as needed.

Position Overview
