Responsibilities

• Conducts financial reviews and examinations of registered dealers, investment advisers and other entities to ensure compliance with Illinois Securities Law.
• Investigates fraudulent activities; interviews victims, witnesses and subjects; prepares written reports and recommends action.
• Prepares reports of findings and supports actions by auditors and attorneys; travels statewide as required.
• Reviews capital computations and financial statements for compliance with new capital requirements and regulations.
