Job summary

Citi Agency Lending, part of Citi's Securities Services, seeks an entry-level Sec & Deriv Intmd Assoc Analyst in Tampa to assist in clearance, settlement and investigations of client securities and derivatives.

Responsibilities include supporting the trading desk, cash investment processing, and creating management reports, with the opportunity to learn and grow within the Operations - Transaction Services team.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of relevant experience in securities processing.
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Support Sec Finance Trading Desk with Trade Corrections, Trade Recalls, Return Processing, and Contract Compare.
• Provide Cash Investment Support for Money Market Fund, Time Deposit, Repo, and Mutual Fund investment processing.
• Contribute to the creation of customized reporting used to present information to management.
• Support implementation of securities processing improvements.
• Assist with identifying policy gaps and formulating policies that streamline related work processes.
• Develop and use knowledge of securities, processing practices and standards.
• Provide informal guidance or on the job training to lower level/new securities processing team members when required.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, ensuring compliance with laws, policy, and safeguarding Citi.
