Job summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking an entry level Cash & Trade Proc Int Assoc Analyst to assist on projects related to cash management in coordination with the Transaction Services team.

The role prioritizes accurate, on-time processing and supports various internal cash-management activities. Responsibilities include monitoring transaction processes, helping investigate and document issues, aiding transitions and stabilization of critical operations, and providing guidance to new team members.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of relevant experience
• Experience and knowledge of cash and trade operations
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Microsoft Office proficiency and data entry comfort
• Bilingual English/Spanish a plus

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure transactions processes are executed correctly and are compliant with internal policies and controls
• Assist in the investigation, documentation and corrective action implementation of all required issues
• Aid with the transition, alignment, and stabilization efforts of critical operations functions
• Assist as required for control, risk, daily activities, and transaction services projects
• Provide informal guidance or on the job training to new team members as required
• Cross-train for various internal roles within the department, and provide back-up coverage for those roles as needed
• Anticipate and respond to requests for deliverables from internal and external clients and vendors
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
