Job summary

Dixon Valve & Coupling Company LLC is seeking a Screw Machine Operator for our Dallas, NC facility. You will learn to operate and maintain multi-spindle screw machines, interpret drawings, and verify parts with calipers and gauges. Training is provided; prior screw machine experience is not required.

We value teamwork, safety, and reliability in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Compensation is competitive with a 10% shift premium.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Reading blueprints and performing shop mathematics.
• Experience with production or packaging machines in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multi-spindle screw machines by selecting tools, adjusting feeds and speeds, and loading raw materials.
• Interpret part drawings and instructions to produce components.
• Use measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to verify parts meet specifications.
• Perform quality inspections and follow machining processes.
• Fine-tune the machine or replace worn tools to maintain precision and productivity.
