Job summary

Dixon Quick Coupling, a division of The Dixon Group, is seeking a Screw Machine Operator to join our Dallas, NC team. No prior screw machine experience is required; training will be provided. Mechanically inclined candidates from manufacturing, maintenance, or automotive backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

The role involves operating multi-spindle screw machines, reading blueprints, and performing quality checks using calipers and micrometers. We value safety, teamwork, and a strong work ethic.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanically inclined with ability to read basic drawings.
• Experience with shop mathematics and measurement tools a plus.
• Willingness to learn and perform quality inspections.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain multi-spindle screw machines.
• Interpret part drawings and instructions to produce components.
• Use calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify parts meet specs.
• Perform quality inspections and follow machining processes.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace and assist team as needed.
