Job summary

Kelly is seeking a dependable Purchasing Specialist to support day-to-day purchasing activities in Maple Grove, MN. This is an entry-level, on-site contract role focused on creating and tracking purchase orders, following up with vendors, and confirming delivery dates.

SAP experience is required and 1–2 years in purchasing is preferred. Responsibilities include entering POs in SAP, tracking orders, emailing vendors for confirmations, expediting orders when needed, and maintaining accurate

• 1–2 years of purchasing or purchasing coordination experience.
• SAP experience required.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and follow-through.
• Comfortable communicating with vendors by email and phone.
• Degree is flexible; equivalent experience is welcome.

Responsibilities

• Create and enter purchase orders in SAP.
• Track open purchase orders and monitor order status.
• Follow up with vendors by email to obtain order confirmations and delivery updates.
• Confirm delivery dates and communicate changes to internal teams.
• Expedite purchase orders when needed.
• Keep purchasing information and order records accurate and up to date.
• Support the purchasing team with general coordination and follow-up.
