ExxonMobil is seeking an entry-level Saltwater Disposal Technician in Midland, TX. You will operate and monitor saltwater disposal facilities, perform routine maintenance, and maintain accurate records while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent.
• Entry level; no experience required.
• A valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
• Able to read and write to read pressure gauges and complete paperwork.
• Basic computer skills, including use of Microsoft Office.
• Strong adaptability and eagerness to learn.
• Basic understanding of using hand tools to lubricate or tighten equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and operate saltwater disposal wells, pumps, tanks, meters, and related equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections of SWD facilities, pipelines, and injection systems.
• Record and report daily operational data including volumes, pressures, temperatures, and flow rates.
• Troubleshoot and perform routine maintenance on pumps, valves, filters, and mechanical systems.
• Monitor injection pressures and rates to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Respond to equipment failures, spills, leaks, and other operational issues.
• Coordinate water truck unloading and verify disposal volumes.
• Maintain accurate operational, maintenance, and safety records.
• Perform housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Participate in safety meetings and complete required training.
