Job summary

ExxonMobil in Midland invites applications for a Water Recycling Technician to support completions and drilling in the Permian. You will operate and maintain water recycling systems to treat produced water for reuse in field operations.

The role requires 2–5+ years in water treatment or oilfield operations, mechanical aptitude with pumps and filtration, and a basic understanding of water quality metrics. Travel and safety compliance are part of the job.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years in water treatment or oilfield operations, midstream / upstream experience preferred.
• Familiarity with produced water systems preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude with pumps and filtration systems.
• Basic understanding of chemistry and water quality metrics.

Responsibilities

• Operate filtration, chemical treatment, and recycling equipment
• Monitor water quality (TSS, bacteria, salinity, etc.)
• Adjust chemical dosing and treatment parameters
• Perform routine inspections and equipment maintenance
• Troubleshoot pumps, valves, and filtration units
• Ensure compliance with environmental and safety regulations
• Record data and submit daily operational reports
