Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Akron is seeking an entry-level Sales Associate / Cashier to be the face of our store, delivering friendly service to shoppers and donors every day.

You will operate the cash register, assist with purchases, price donated items, and help maintain a clean, welcoming sales floor. A flexible schedule including weekends/evenings is required to support the community we serve.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a cash register including basic math, computer, and typing skills.
• Provide friendly, efficient customer service and help customers with questions.
• Maintain a neat, welcoming store appearance and assist with daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors with a warm, helpful attitude.
• Assist with purchases, operate cash register and POS system accurately.
• Price donated goods and textiles following store standards.
• Keep store areas clean and organized, restock as needed.
