Goodwill Industries of Akron, OH is seeking an entry-level Sales Associate / Cashier to be the face of our agency. You will deliver friendly service to shoppers and donors, help with purchases, operate the cash register and POS, and ensure quick, accurate transactions.

You will also price donated goods, maintain store cleanliness, and participate in our community-and career development initiatives while supporting the mission to help people prepare for employment.

Qualifications

• Operate a cash register with basic math, computer, and typing skills.
• Lift up to 30 lbs.
• Provide excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors with a warm, friendly attitude.
• Handle purchases and operate the cashier and POS.
• Balance cash drawer and complete daily reports.
• Assist with price tagging and quality control of donated items.
