Job summary

Qlm in the United States seeks an entry-level Safety Coordinator to support a safe, compliant work environment across active commercial and industrial construction projects. You will work with senior field management and receive hands-on training.

No prior safety management experience is required; we value a strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and basic familiarity with active construction sites. Your duties include site audits, orientations, logs, incident documentation, and safety support.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of safety/construction-related experience, entry-level candidates encouraged.
• Education in Occupational Health & Safety or related field is a plus.
• OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 preferred; training provided for right candidate.
• Strong communication, professional interaction with crews and supervisors.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily jobsite walks to identify hazards and verify PPE and OSHA compliance.
• Assist with onboarding, safety orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Maintain safety logs, PPE inspection sheets, JHAs, and SDS records.
• Document near-misses, minor injuries, and equipment incidents with supervision.
• Support Lockout/Tagout, fall protection setup, and safe electrical practices.
• Inspect first aid kits, eye wash stations, extinguishers, and fall arrest gear.
