Job summary

Quantum Industrial Services is seeking a Safety Coordinator to ensure workplace safety and regulatory compliance on industrial mechanical projects. You will conduct on-site safety inspections, develop training programs, and lead incident investigations to prevent hazards.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a safety-related field and OSHA 30 certification, with 3+ years of experience in safety coordination. Travel between job sites is expected as part of routine safety oversight.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field preferred.
• OSHA 30 certification required.
• Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Construction Health & Safety Technician (CHST) certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in safety coordination, compliance, or construction safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, ANSI, and workplace hazard prevention strategies.
• Proficiency in safety audit software and compliance tracking tools.
• Ability to conduct safety inspections, risk assessments, and training sessions.
• Strong problem-solving abilities to assess safety risks and implement corrective actions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to enforce safety protocols and train employees.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site safety inspections and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Ensure adherence to OSHA, ANSI, and other industry safety regulations.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees and subcontractors.
• Investigate workplace accidents, document findings, and recommend corrective actions.
• Proactively assess risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Enforce proper use of PPE and manage emergency response procedures.
• Maintain records of inspections, incidents, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and site supervisors on safety measures.
• Lead toolbox talks and regular safety meetings to reinforce policies.
