Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform skilled and semi-skilled duties involving the preparation, fabrication, installation and maintenance of traffic control devices.
• Operate as appropriate various hand and power tools.
• Install and maintain traffic control devices and signage per MUTCD and other relevant documents.
• Coordinate projects and inspection activities with contractors, utilities, governmental agencies and other County departments.
• Perform field inspections during and after construction to ensure compliance with County specifications and safety around construction sites.
• Respond to emergency calls regarding damaged or missing signage.
• Maintain and update traffic control inventory records and related documentation.
