Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in the United States is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include assisting customers with questions and recommendations, processing sales at the register, and helping maintain a clean, secure store.

You will stock merchandise, unload trucks, restock as needed, and ensure a safe, respectful environment with friendly interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, etc.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, trash
• Other duties as assigned
