Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the cash register, and help maintain a clean, organized store environment.

Responsibilities include stocking merchandise, unloading trucks, ensuring safety and courtesy, and delivering friendly service while following company policies.

Qualifications

• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent movement.
• Strong customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong communication and organizational skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms included.
