Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help keep the store clean and well-stocked.

Responsibilities include unloading merchandise, stocking shelves, and maintaining a safe, friendly environment. Prior retail or customer service experience is preferred, with a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
