Job summary

Family Dollar in Proctorville, OH is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. Duties include assisting customers, handling transactions, stocking merchandise, and keeping the store clean and safe.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and prior customer service experience. You will lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Process sales transactions at the register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect assets.
• Keep store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
