Job summary

ServiceMaster of South Shore Inc in Peoria, IL is seeking a Restoration Technician to provide emergency restoration and disaster recovery services. You will handle water, fire, smoke damage tasks, mold remediation, water extraction, and basic cleanup under guidance from a Lead Technician.

The role requires teamwork, strong reading and communication skills, reliability, and adherence to safety standards. Physical tasks include lifting up to 70 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to work in a team and take direction from supervisors.
• Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to read and follow product label usage instructions.
• Punctual with a neat, complete uniform and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform water/fire/smoke damage and mold remediation as directed by supervisor.
• Set up and monitor air movers and dehumidifiers.
• Assist with other cleaning duties as part of mitigation or restoration.
• Report equipment malfunctions and customer issues to supervisor.
• Complete tasks per company processes with quality control on each job.
