ServiceMaster of South Shore Inc. in Middletown, OH is seeking an entry-level Restoration Technician to perform emergency restoration and disaster recovery tasks under supervision. You will handle water, fire, and mold mitigation, operate air movers, and assist with cleanups and basic repairs.

The role emphasizes teamwork, promptness, and safety. Candidates should be able to read product labels, follow instructions, communicate clearly with customers and supervisors, and maintain clean uniforms

Qualifications

High school graduate or equivalent is required.
Ability to work within a team and take instruction.
Follows company guidelines and standards.
Good verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
Reads and follows product label usage instructions.
Punctual and neat in uniform.

Responsibilities

Performs water/fire/smoke damage and mold remediation repair as directed by supervisor, including water extraction, contents packing, removal of non-salvageable materials, cleaning, light construction and demolition.
Sets up and monitors air movers and/or dehumidifiers.
May perform other cleaning duties during mitigation or restoration jobs.
Reports equipment malfunctions to supervisor.
Reports customer problems or damage to supervisor.
Completes assigned tasks per company processes while maintaining quality control.
